Dear Beijing Alumni and Friends,
     We have had a busy year. You only need to look at our Past Events section of the website to see what we've accomplished. We were happy to wrap up September with a great Pennlanthropy – Cheering the Red & Blue in Beijing event where we collected clothes and cameras for local charities to celebrate President Amy Gutmann's announcement that Penn reached its $3.5 billion goal in the University's Making History Campaign. You can continue to drop off gently used clothing and shoes at five convenient locations around the city. See below.
     It's hard to believe that it's time for our Annual General Meeting and elections for Penn Club of Beijing officers again. Take the time to nominate someone interested in volunteering to be an officer with the Penn Club of Beijing. Next year will be just as exciting this year. Our Annual General Meeting will be held on the evening of Wednesday, October 26. Make plans to come out to mingle and meet other interesting alumni in Beijing.
     Last, we are gearing up to prepare for interviewing the Class of 2016. We are expecting an even larger number of applicants this fall and will need as many alumni as possible to assist.
