原标题：Deep caries due to pre-eruptive intracoronal resorption (PIER) in a recently erupted maxillary second molar: a case report

萌出前冠内吸收（pre-eruptive intra-coronal resorption，PIER）是位于未萌出牙齿的牙本质内、恰好位于釉牙本质界下方的缺陷。病变的深度不一，也可能像这位13岁的患者一样，病变波及牙髓。过去，这些病变常常与龋齿混淆，因此被称为“隐匿龋”或“萌出前龋”。这些缺陷通常在常规牙科X光检查中偶然发现。已有证据表明，在萌出前阶段，此类病变包含软组织和炎性细胞。

本报告描述了一例上颌第二恒磨牙伴深龋的PEIR病例的临床处理方法。

同一天取轻体和重体硅橡胶印模，用于制作修复体。

结论

正确及时诊断萌出前冠内吸收的重要性显而易见，如有需要，可以及时进行治疗以防止牙髓受累。
